Under the patronage of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, King Abdulaziz International Contest for the Memorization, Intonation and Interpretation of the Holy Quran will be organized here from September 25 to October 2. As many as 160 competitors of various ages from a number of countries are scheduled to participate in the contest due to be organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance. Speaking on the occasion, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Sheikh Saleh Al Al-Sheikh highlighted the great attention given by the state to the Holy Quran, and said the Kingdom's officials are honored by the service of the Holy Quran. He pointed out that the international contest for the Holy Quran Memorization, Intonation and Interpretation has proved to be attractive, and has been positively contributing to enhancing relations among Muslims.
