One ton hashish smuggling foiled

The Border Guard Patrols in Najran Region have foiled an attempt to smuggle one ton-fifty kilograms of hashish to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across the border region.
A security source at the Border Guards said that the efforts exerted by the Border Guard sectors and their centers in the region as well as the cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate have led to seizing this quantity and its recipients.
The source indicated that legal procedures are currently being taken as regards the seized materials as well as the arrested people.
