Jazaeri, the Regional Director of World Health Organization for East Mediterranean pointed out that health for all people and lessening poverty are considered among the major issues of our current age. In turn, Dr. Margaret Chan, the Director General of WHO expressed her thanks to and appreciation of the government of Saudi Arabia and Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz for supporting the efforts of international and regional organizations particularly the field of protection from blindness diseases.
