Presided over by Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Regional Bureau of the International Agency for Blindness Combat in the East Mediterranean, the Public Relations and Support, an affiliate of IMBACT today concluded its two-day meetings in Dubai, held on the fringes of the 8th International Arab African Council conference on Eye Medicine. In a statement following the meeting, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Alrajhi, Associate President of IMBACT, said the committee expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz and his successful endeavor to add blindness combating campaign to the agenda of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization in 2006. Among the important decisions of the support committee were the access of Right for Sight 2020 initiative to governments' health plans and shedding light on it in the presence of decision-makers and budget-designers in the region.
