Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, dedicated a number of medical projects in Tabuk Region today. The projects include the Center for Tumors and Blood Diseases, Rescue Training Center, and Medical Research Data Base Site at armed forces hospitals in the Western Northern Region, Crown Prince also laid the foundation stone for Maternity, Obstetrics and Nursery Center at the armed Forces hospital in the region. Addressing the gathering, Brig. doctor Ghalib bin Ghalib bin Jiraib, gave an account on the medical projects opened by the Crown Prince today. He said the expansion of the Center for Tumors and Blood Diseases brings the capacity of the center for day care to 25 beds. He said the center's data base will contain 2100 articles and provide the site with the latest medical developments. The Maternity, Obstetrics and Nursery Center which cost SR48 million comprises 150 beds for women, 60 for newly born children and three operation rooms. The party was attended by a number of princes and officials.
