Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, today patronized the opening ceremony of King Fahd Medical City.
The cost of the equipment and construction works of the four-hospital complex is estimated at SR2300 million.
The total capacity of the complex including the general hospital, the pediatrics hospital, maternity and obstetrics hospital, and medical rehabilitation hospital is 1095 beds.
Crown Prince Abdullah was received by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region, Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Almanea, the Minister of Health, Dr. Mansour Alhawasi, the Ministry's Undersecretary for Executive Affairs, and a number of officials.
