A speeding train struck a bus at a railway crossing in eastern Pakistan on Tuesday, killing at least eight people and injuring 20, police said according to AP. The accident happened at Muridke, a town near the eastern city of Lahore. Mohammed Akram, an area police chief, said the dead and injured were extracted from the destroyed bus and transported to hospitals.
