At least five passengers people were killed and fifteen others injured when a passenger train derailed near Pakistan's eastern Lahore city Saturday, railway officials said. "The accident took place as the last wagon of the train derailed at Kot Molchand, about 15 kilometres northeast of Lahore," Mohammad Jamil said. The train was bound for Narowal city 70 kilometres northeast of Lahore. Rescue operations were underway and railway and police officials were at the site, he said. All the injured have been shifted to a hospital in Lahore. Railway police had begun an investigation into the cause of the accident which was not immediately clear, he said.
