The Saudi Popular Campaign for Relief of Lebanese People distributed today food aid to the needy people in Sidon City, southern Lebanon. Director of the Campaign's Office Ahmed Abdulkarim Al-Zaidi visited Sidon and met both Sidon and Zahrani Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Osseiran and Mufti of Sidon and Villages Sheikh Salim Soussan and handed them food assistance for the relief of the poor and needy people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. During the meeting, Mufti Osseiran praised the pioneering role of the Kingdom under the leadership of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in support of Lebanon politically and socially. On his part, Mufti Soussan commended the pioneering role of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in exerting sincere efforts to save Lebanon from the risks of any constitutional vacuum at the start of the date of presidential elections. In this regard, he commended the efforts of Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja.
