Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Dr Abdulaziz Khoja said the Kingdom's National Day is one of the most important events because it embodies the national unity and the coherence between the leadership and the people. In a press statement issued here, Dr Khoja hoped that Lebanon would restore security and stability. He saluted the Lebanese army which has recently attained triumph in its battle against terrorism. It is hoped that the Lebanese politicians and officials will resort to dialogue and reach an agreement for resolving their country's problems. Dr Khoja urged the Lebanese people to view Lebanon from the angle of citizenship and fraternity and not from the angle of politics and sectarianism, and said the Lebanese should learn lessons from the events of the past. He affirmed that Saudi Arabia will unwaveringly continue to extend support to Lebanon and to the Arab and Muslim causes.
