A 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia`s Bengkulu province at 06.10 p.m. on Wednesday but there was no immediate report of injuries and casualties, ANTARA reported. The quake`s epicenter was in the Indian Ocean 159 km southwest of Bengkulu city at a depth of 10 km, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said. The tremblor was also felt by people living in Central Java albeit at low intensity.
