King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan flew to Paris Sunday for talks with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Prime Minister Francois Fillon on the role France can play to spur peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, officials said, according to DPA. High on the agenda will be US President George W Bush's proposal for convening an international conference on the Middle East this fall in the run-up for the creation of a Palestinian state that lives in peace with Israel. Shortly before his departure from Amman, King Abdullah discussed latest peace moves with the visiting Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi.
