The government of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has provided support worth SR 6 million to assist the Yemeni government in combating swarms of locusts currently sweeping Yemen and threatening its agricultural crops. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan said that the support conducted in coordination with UN Agriculture and Food Organization includes vehicles, equipment, machinery and insecticides. He noted that this support comes within the framework of existing cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
