Locusts arrive in Kingdom

Swarms of desert red locusts have been found in Wadi Jallah near Al-Durrah entry post on the Saudi-Jordanian border, the ministry of agriculture announced here today.
The Ministry's Director General of Public Relations and Agricultural Information Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Fuhaid said that two teams were dispatched to promptly combat the swarms, noting that observation is still under way in all regions expecting the arrival of locusts.
