The leaders of the five countries bordering the oil and gas-rich Caspian Sea will hold a summit in Tehran in October, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Wednesday. The leaders of the other four states _ Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan _ have agreed to the Oct. 16 summit, Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. «The Caspian Sea has great potential which opens the possibility for further development of all the Caspian countries if, of course, the potential is implemented fairly,» Ahmadinejad said during a visit to the Azeri capital. «Unfortunately, the riches of the Caspian now are not used rationally and justly.»
