Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has directed the Ministry of Finance and concerned authorities to provide urgent aid to Bangladesh due to the floods that led to high causalities and tremendous damage there. The aid will include medical and relief material assistance to the victims and will be flown speedily by Saudi planes. A USD50 million grant will also be provided to secure urgent needs in coordination with Saudi Red Crescent Society and with cooperation with international aid organizations and local authorities there.
