We have resolved to focus and try to make progress in the bilateral investment treaty negotiations, which had been static in the last several months, he said. Khan said that the two countries would be able to achieve consensus on a few unresolved issues in BIT negotiations but added no timeframe has been fixed as yet. The Minister, who also interacted with the American entrepreneurs, expressed satisfaction with the American investors growing confidence in the Pakistani economic potential and its consistent policies and in this context cited continued increase in US investment in various sectors in recent years.
