Amiantit Company and its partner Turkey-based Subor Company have won a contract worth SR118 million / $ 31.5 million/ to supply the irrigation network project of Ein - Khosh in Iran with flowtite pipes of fiberglass for agricultural irrigation. The contract covers 50% of the total value of the network project amounting to $ 70 million including the production and installation of pipes and valves. The term of the contract, which is financed by the Islamic Development Bank and the government of Iran is 36 months and the Amiantit Company will provide the project with pipes from its fiberglass factory in Dammam. The first batch of pipes and their accessories will be shipped from Dammam in July until the end of November, 2008. -- SPA
