US PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH HAS CONGRATULATED TURKISH PREMIER RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN ON THE OCCASION OF THE VICTORY ATTAINED BY HIS PARTY IN THE GENERAL ELECTIONS RECENTLY HELD IN TURKEY.
A SPOKESMAN FOR THE US NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL SAID BUSH HAD CONGRATULATED ERDOGAN.
THE SPOKESMAN NOTED THAT BUSH HAS REITERATED THE KEENNESS OF WASHINGTON ON MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONS WITH TURKEY.
