At least three Iraqis were killed and 12 others wounded Monday in three simultaneous blasts in Fallujah city, the Independent Iraqi News Agency reported, citing a security source. A car bomb parked on the roadside in al-Andalus neighbourhood near a communications centre and an outdoor market exploded, killing one man, injuring five others and causing damages to some stores, dpa quoted the source as saying. At the same time, a second car bomb exploded in al-Tameem neighbourhood in southern Fallujah, wounding four people. Also Monday in western Fallujah, an explosive charge targeted a vehicle, killing an Iraqi woman and her child and seriously injuring three others, all belong to the same family. Security forces enforced a curfew on traffic and pedestrians in Fallujah, which is situated 70 kilometres west of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
