A bus packed with passengers ran off the road and fell into a deep ravine in a remote area of northwest Pakistan Friday, killing at least 13 people and injuring 22 others, an official said. The accident happened near Jandola, a town in the South Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan, said Ahmad Shah, a government official in the area. The dead and injured were being transported to a hospital, he said, without providing any further details.
