MINISTER OF WATER AND ELECTRICITY AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SALINE WATER CONVERSION CORPORATION ABDULLAH ALHOSAIN SIGNED HERE TODAY THE CONTRACTS OF MANUFACTURING, SUPPLY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DESALINATED WATER DELIVERY SYSTEMS PRODUCED BY ALSHQAIQ SALINE WATER DESALINATION PLANT AND ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION (THE SECOND PHASE) TO CITIES AND PROVINCES OF THE REGIONS OF ASIR AND JAZAN.
THE TOTAL COST OF THE CONTRACTS IS 3,616,272,174 RIYALS.
FOLLOWING THE SIGNING, THE MINISTER EXPLAINED THE DETAILS OF THE CONTRACTS AND THE DIFFERENT PHASES OF THE PROJECT.
THE MINISTER THANKED SAUDI LEADERS FOR APPROVING THESE CONTACTS WHICH WILL SERVE CITIZENS IN ASIR AND JAZAN AND WILL INCREASE SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER TO THESE REGIONS.
