The Arab Information Team started their meetings today at the headquarters of the Arab League. The team is concerned with modernizing and developing the framework document for integration between cultural and media policies in the Arab world. The meetings were presided over by the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Arab Information Amin Bassiouni, with the participation of experts in the field of information and media from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Palestine. The Saudi delegation was led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for International Relations Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed Bagader. The Director of Arab Information Department at the Arab League Dr. Mahmoud Abdulaziz said that this document is considered as the basic framework for the Arab services of culture and information as regards achieving integration and cooperation between them. "The document also contributes to the Islamic Arab culture", he said.
