The Arab Standing Media Committee will hold on Sunday an extraordinary meeting at the Arab League's Headquarters at the level of Undersecretaries of Arab information ministries to discuss the creation of an Arab Media Commission in implementation of the resolution of the Arab information Ministers extraordinary meeting held last January. The 4-day meeting will deliberate on the fundamental Law of the Commission to be presented at the 43rd regular session of Arab Information ministers scheduled for the month of June and to be finally approved in the upcoming extraordinary meeting of the ministerial council in October. The Saudi delegation to the meeting will be led by Dr. Abdullah Al Jasser, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Media Affairs.
