Bus accident kills 17 in China

A bus plunged off a southwestern China highway Monday, killing 17 people including three children and injuring 24 others, an official news agency reported.
The accident happened just before dawn on the Guibi
Highway in western Guizhou province, Xinhua News Agency said.
The report said the bus was carrying 41 passengers, but was not overloaded. It gave no other details.
