An Air New Zealand plane with 120 people on board made an emergency landing on Thursday after smoke appeared in the cockpit, according to a news report. The Boeing 737 landed safely at an air force base at Ohakea, about 170 kilometres north of the capital Wellington where it had taken off on a scheduled flight to Auckland, DPA QUOTED Radio New Zealand as reporting. Nobody was hurt and the airline was reportedly sending another plane to pick up the passengers to resume their journey.
