A Kenya Airways flight from Harare, Zimbabwe landed safely in Nairobi on Friday despite losing a tyre in mid-air, dpa quoted the airline as saying. Kenya Airways CEO Titus Naikuni said in a statement the Boeing 737-300, carrying 93 passengers and 7 crew, lost a tyre shortly after taking off from Harare International Airport. It landed at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as scheduled, and nobody was injured in the incident, Naikuni said. An investigation has been launched by Kenya Airways and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, he added. -- SPA
