Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani will arrive in Baghdad today to hold talks with Iraqi officials, reported Iranian official news agency "IRNA." An informed source at Iran's Embassy in Iraq said Larijani's visit is aimed at meeting senior Iraqi officials. Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Barham Salih cancelled a planned visit to Tehran because of Larijani's visit to Baghdad. Salih's office announced that his visit was cancelled due to the presence in Baghdad of Larijani and his entourage. Salih was scheduled to pay a visit to Tehran Sunday (today) to hold talks with Iranian officials. -- SPA
