Two children were killed when a grenade they were playing with exploded in an eastern Philippine village, police said Thursday. Robert San Andres, 8, and Liza Legacion, 12, were killed instantly in the blast on Wednesday in Buhi town in Camarines Sur province, 300 kilometres south-east of Manila, according to dpa. Four other children, aged 9 and 11, were wounded in the explosion. Police said initial investigation showed that San Andres found the grenade in a dump site near their house and brought it home, where he and his friends played with it. -- SPA
