THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 25TH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR DUE TO BE OPENED IN TUNIS ON FRIDAY (APRIL 27, 2007). SAUDI CULTURAL ATTACHE IN TUNIS IBRAHIM AL-TASAN SAID IN A STATEMENT TO SPA THAT A NUMBER OF PUBLISHING HOUSES AND LIBRARIES WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE BOOK SHOW. HE NOTED THAT THE SAUDI PAVILION AT THE FAIR WILL DISTRIBUTE COPIES OF THE HOLY QURAN, PRINTED BY THE MADINAH-BASED KING FAHD HOLY QURAN PRINTING COMPLEX, TO THE VISITORS OF THE PAVILION DURING THE TEN DAYS OF THE BOOK SHOW. AL TASAN SAID THE PARTICIPATION OF THE KINGDOM IN THE BOOK SHOW REFLECTS ITS KEENNESS ON ESTABLISHING CULTURAL RELATIONS WITH THE ARAB COUNTRIES AND THE OTHER COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD. SAUDI ARABIA'S MINISTRIES OF HIGHER EDUCATION; ISLAMIC AFFAIRS, ENDOWMENTS, CALL AND GUIDANCE; CULTURE AND INFORMATION, AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PRESIDENCY FOR YOUTH WELFARE, KING ABDULAZIZ FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH AND ARCHIVES, UMMAL QURA UNIVERSITY, IMAM MOHAMMED BIN SAUD ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, KING SAUD UNIVERSITY, KING FAISAL UNIVERSITY, KING ABDULAZIZ PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND KING FAHD NATIONAL LIBRARY WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE SHOW.
