THE EDUCATION MINISTRY IS CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTING 47 EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS AT A TOTAL COST OF MORE THAN SR 185 MILLION IN MAKKAH. DR ABDULAZIZ AL-AKLA, THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF GIRLS EDUCATION IN MAKKAH, SAID THE PROJECTS INCLUDE GIRLS SCHOOLS. HE NOTED THAT THE EDUCATION MINISTRY WILL MAKE THE REQUIRED ARRANGEMENTS FOR PURCHASING PIECES OF LANDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE GIRLS SCHOOLS. DR AL-AKLA SAID THE SCHOOLS WILL HAVE MOST ADVANCED DESIGNS AND ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES. HE POINTED OUT THAT THESE BUILDINGS WILL ENABLE THE EDUCATION MINISTRY TO GET RID OF THE RENTED BUILDINGS WHICH ARE CURRENTLY USED AS SCHOOLS.
