Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here today that holding talks with the US was not on Iran's agenda. "Talks with the US is not on Iran's agenda," Iranian state news agency IRNA quoted Hosseini as saying in reaction to the readiness announced by the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to meet and talk with her Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki on the sidelines of an upcoming meeting on Iraq. Pointing to Iran's participation at the meeting, he told reporters at his weekly press conference, "Consultations are currently underway on (determining) the date and venue of the conference. The spokesman added: " No place has been fixed yet, Iran believes the meeting should be held in Baghdad." -- SPA
