GHAMDI, CHAIRMAN OF NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY EMPHASIZED THE IMPORTANCE OF UNITING ALL EFFORTS TO CONFRONT THE PROBLEM OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS WHICH ANNUALLY LEADS TO THE DEATH OF MORE THAN 5000 PERSONS, THE INJURY OF 40,000 AND HANDICAP OF 1000 PEOPLE. ADDRESSING THE CEREMONY, THE ORGANIZATION'S PRESIDENT AFIF AL-FARIQI PRAISED THE EFFORTS OF THE KINGDOM IN ORGANIZATION AND ARRANGEMENT DURING HAJJ SEASON TO ENSURE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF PILGRIMS. HE CONSIDERED THE HONORING OF THE PRINCE AS A RECOGNITION OF THE SOCIETY'S GREAT EFFORTS TO PROVIDE BEST MEDICAL, HUMANITARIAN AND EMERGENCY SERVICES TO MORE THAN THREE MILLION PILGRIMS YEARLY.
