The Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Conference Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said that all members of the Executive Committee of Organization of Islamic conference at the level of foreign ministers who concluded here today their expanded extraordinary meeting commended the patronization of the Palestinian meeting in Makkah and blessed the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz within the framework of Makkah agreement and the achievement of reconciliation among brethren in Palestine. In a press conference held following the meeting, he said that the ministers demanded that the world community support Makkah agreement and welcome formation of a national unity government, pledging support for this government. He noted that the ministers stressed the major role to be played by OIC in stopping Israeli aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque through its cooperation with UN Security Council, United Nations Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO), International Court of Justice and UN Human Rights Council.
