Saudi ambassador to Australia and New Zealand Hassan bin Talat Nazer welcomed today the new batch of Saudi scholarship holders sent to New Zealand, urging them to benefit from all possible assistance given by the government or the Saudi embassy in Canberra in pursuing their higher studies. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Nazer said that the arrival of the new batch of 350 Saudi students in New Zealand during the current academic year comes in the framework of an agreement signed recently between the two countries to enhance cooperation in several spheres, notably the increase of Saudi students favoring to study in New Zealand. The Saudi ambassador commended the prestigous fame of New Zealand universities as well as facilities offered to the Saudi students by the their government. -- SPA
