UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF PRINCE TALAL BIN ABDULAZIZ, CHAIRMAN OF ARAB COUNCIL FOR CHILDHOOD AND DEVELOPMENT, THE COUNCIL WILL HOLD IN COOPERATION WITH THE ARAB LEAGUE A CONFERENCE OF ARAB CHILDREN'S LANGUAGE IN GLOBALIZATION ERA ON FEBRUARY 17-19 ON THE OCCASION OF THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COUNCIL'S FOUNDATION. IN A STATEMENT ISSUED BY THE COUNCIL TODAY, PRINCE TALAL WARNED OF THE DANGERS OF CHALLENGES FACING ARAB CHILDREN WHICH LIMIT CONTINUAL FORMATION OF THEIR ARAB IDENTITY, CULTURE AND LANGUAGE, DEMANDING THAT ARAB COUNTRIES MOBILIZE ALL POTENTIALITIES IN COOPERATION WITH A NUMBER OF PARTNERS TO MAINTAIN THIS IDENTITY, TO GRANT CHILDREN RIGHTS TO POSSESS THEIR NATIONAL LANGUAGE AND TO ENHANCE ITS ROLE ACCORDING TO THE ERA'S REQUIREMENTS.
