Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will pay a short visit tomorrow to Jordan and then proceed to Damascus and Beirut. The Palestinian Embassy in Amman said in a statement that Abbas will meet senior Syrian officials and leaders of the Palestinian factions based in Damascus. The statement said that Abbas will meet in Beirut on Sunday and Monday Lebanese President Emile Lehoud, Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri. "The Palestinian-Lebanese talks will focus on the developments in Palestine and Lebanon as well as ways of activating the Lebanese-Palestinian relations in all fields," the statement said.
