As many as 329 illegal Pakistani immigrants deported from Sultanate of Oman were ferried back to Pakistan Saturday, officials said. They were brought to Pakistan by a launch. The efforts of the Pakistan embassy in Muscat successfully resulted in the deportation of the 329 Pakistanis, who were detained in different detention camps. The Omani government as a gesture of goodwill allowed the repatriation of the Pakistani immigrants at its expense. On return, the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) questioned them briefly and allowed to go to their homes.
