THE NUMBER OF PERSONS WHO ARRIVED IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA FOR PERFORMING HAJJ, UNTIL SATURDAY (DECEMBER 23, 2006), AMOUNTED TO 1,449,196.
THEY ARRIVED VIA KING ABDULAZIZ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF JEDDAH, PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN ABDULAZIZ AIRPORT OF MADINAH, JEDDAH ISLAMIC PORT, HALAT AMMAR ENTRY POINT, AL-BAT'HA ENTRY POINT AND OTHER ENTRY POINTS.
AS REGARDS THE HEALTH CONDITION OF THE PILGRIMS, A REPORT SAID NO CASES OF SUN STROKE OR HEAT EXHAUSTION WERE REPORTED AMONG THE PILGRIMS. BUT, THE REPORT SAID 189 PILGRIMS DIED OF OLD AGE AND OTHER NATURAL CAUSES.
