All the 16 entry points of the pilgrims into the Kingdom will be strictly monitored against any contagious disease. The Health Control Centers at crossing points will prevent the entry of contagious diseases, said Dr. Ziad Memish, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Health. He said the centers will be operational at Jeddah's King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Prince Muhammad Bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Madina, Jeddah Islamic Port and Yanbu Port. This is in addition to main roads at the land crossing points of Halat Ammar, Al-Hudaitha in Al-Quraiyat, Salwa and Al-Bat'ha in Al-Ahsa, Al-Raqi in Hafr Al-Batin, Jadidat Ar'ar in the Northern Frontier region, Alab in Asir, Al-Khadra in Najran and King Fahd Causeway in the Eastern Province. The Ministry of Health has also completed preparations for the construction, operation and maintenance of health centers at the holy sites for this year's Haj. Ahmad Al-Beez, Chairman of the Haj Projects Committee, said the ministry has completed its periodic maintenance of 80 health centers at the holy sites. These include 28 health centers in Mina, 46 in Arafat and six in Muzdalifa. All these centers are now ready to received patients.
