The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Dr. Abdulaziz bin Othman Al-Tawaijeri submitted three reports to the Second Islamic Conference for the Ministers of Environment opened here earlier today. The reports related to ISESCO's efforts and proposals in the fields of water resources management; protection of environment, health and population education; and renewable energies. In the second session, the Director General of ISESCO submitted a document entitled "Outlines for the Draft of Sustainable Development Strategy in the Islamic World" set by ISESCO. The Conference adopted the report of the Director General on the efforts of ISESCO in the field of environment, health and population education, taking into account the observations made by the members of the Conference. The Conference also adopted the report of the Director General of ISESCO on the efforts of ISESCO in the field of renewable energies, taking into account the observations made by members of the Conference.
