MAKING ITS DEBUT, THE SAUDI ARABIAN SINGAPOREAN BUSINESS COUNCIL HELD A MEETING IN RIYADH TODAY. THE TWO SIDES EXPRESSED INTEREST IN ACTIVATING THE COMMERCIAL, ECONOMIC AND INVESTMENT JOINT COOPERATION WITHIN THE DISTINGUISHED BILATERAL RELATIONS OF THE PEOPLES. ADDRESSING THE MEETING, ABDULRAHMAN BIN ALI AL-JERAISI, CHAIRMAN OF RIYADH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, WELCOMED THE SINGAPOREAN DELEGATION, WISHING THEM GOOD STAY IN THE KINGDOM AND SUCCESS OF THEIR MISSION. HE HIGHLIGHTED THE ATTRACTIVE INVESTMENT ENVIRONMENT IN THE KINGDOM AND FACILITIES EXTENDED TO INVESTORS IN ADDITION TO CURRENT HIGH GROWTH RATES OF THE SAUDI ECONOMY. HE HOPED THAT THE COUNCIL WOULD CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROMOTION OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE KINGDOM AND SINGAPORE IN ALL FIELDS. ON HIS PART, STEFFEN LEE, CHAIRMAN OF BUSINESS UNION IN SINGAPORE, UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF THE SAUDI MARKET FOR SINGAPOREAN PRODUCTS AND EXPRESSED THE WISH OF BUSINESSMEN IN SINGAPORE TO INTENSIFY COOPERATION WITH THE KINGDOM IN ALL FIELDS, CALLING FOR BETTER EXPLOITATION OF CHANCES OF COOPERATION AND INVESTMENT IN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
