A roadside bomb killed three U.S. soldiers and wounded two, the military said Monday. The explosion occurred as the soldiers from the Multinational Division-Baghdad were conducting a combat patrol in the north of the capital late Sunday night, the U.S. command said. The names of the deceased were withheld pending notification of relatives. The deaths raised to 46 the number of troops who have died this month. At least 2,934 members of the U.S. military have died since the war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.
