Shadow Foreign Secretary of the British Conservative Party William Hague has met Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar, according to an official statement. Leading a three-member delegation including Lord Ashcroft, Hague is on a two-day visit to Pakistan. Bakhtyar and Hague discussed bilateral relations to enhance cooperation. Bakhtyar emphasized the need for Pakistan's greater market access to the European Union. Hague conveyed Conservative Party's desire to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Bakhtyar also briefed the delegation on Pakistan-India relations, Kashmir dispute and Afghanistan.
