Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Khusro Bakhtyar has met King Mohammed VI of Morocco and discussed issues of mutual interest including boosting political and economic ties between Pakistan and Morocco, says a message received in Islamabad. The Minister met the Morocco King during his visit to Morocco as special envoy of President General Pervez Musharraf. During the meeting held at the Royal Palace of Agadir, the Minister handed over a letter from Musharraf to the King. Referring to the Kashmir dispute, King Mohammed said the dialogue between Pakistan and India leading to an agreement on Kashmir would become a model for the resolution of similar conflicts in the rest of the world. Bakhtyar renewed the invitation from the President to the King to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience. He also held meetings with the Moroccan Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Taieb Fassi Fhiri and the Minister for External Trade Mustapha Mechahouri. Matters relating to bilateral trade, particularly export of textile from Pakistan and an early conclusion of Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) came under discussion.
