BASED ON STATISTICS OF THE MINISTRY OF LABOR ON THE LABOR MARKET, DR. GHAZI BIN ABDULRAHMAN AL-QUSAIBI, MINISTER OF LABOR, SAID TODAY THAT HALF OF THOSE REGISTERED AS UNEMPLOYED IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA ARE SERIOUS IN SEEKING JOBS, CONTRADICTING A PUBLIC NOTION THAT SAUDI YOUTH ARE NOT SERIOUS TO JOIN WORKFORCE. SPEAKING AT A GRADUATION CEREMONY OF A NEW BATCH OF GRADUATES OF AL-RIMAIZAN CENTER FOR TRAINING, AL-QUSAIBI SAID TRAINING IS THE TOOL OF A JOB-SEEKER EVERYWHERE, NOT ONLY ACADEMIC DEGREES. HE SAID THE STATE IS CURRENTLY EMPLOYING MORE THAN TWO MILLION MALE AND FEMALE PERSONNEL AND HAS NO ROOM FOR MORE, WARNING THAT THOSE WHO APPLY FOR GOVERNMENT JOBS SHOULD WAIT FOR MORE THAN ONE OR TWO OR MORE YEARS. HE SAID THE FIELD OF EMPLOYMENT IS CURRENTLY THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
