A MEETING OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ARAB PETROLEUM EXPORTING COUNTRIES (OAPEC) BEGAN HERE TODAY UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF QATARI MINISTER OF ENERGY AND INDUSTRY ABDULLAH AL-ATIYYAH.
THE SAUDI DELEGATION TO THE MEETING IS LED BY MINISTER OF PETROLEUM AND MINERAL RESOURCES ENG ALI AL-NAIMI.
ADDRESSING THE INAUGURAL SESSION, AL-ATIYYAH SAID THE OIL INDUSTRY HAS BEEN FACING DIFFICULT SITUATION, ADDING THAT IT IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL TO WORK FOR FINDING THE SUITABLE SOLUTIONS FOR THESE DIFFICULTIES.
