Gold traded in London at US$617.75 bid per troy ounce, down from US$624.40 late Thursday. In Zurich, the bid price was US$618.03, down from US$623.35. Gold fell US$4.80 in Hong Kong to close at US$618.20. Silver closed in London at US$12.68 bid per troy ounce, down from US$13.01.
