ISESCO Director Generalon visits Turkey

Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization -ISESCO-, has started today a working visit to Turkey to attend the official ceremony to be held on Monday in Istanbul on the occasion of the presentation of the final report of the High-Level Group for the Alliance of Civilizations to Kofi Annan, United Nations Secretary General.
During the visit, the Director General of ISESCO will hold talks with the members of the Group.
It is worth-mentioning that ISESCO is the OIC body specialized in dialogue of cultures and alliance of civilizations.
The High-Level Group for the Alliance of Civilizations is composed of world-renowned personalities, including the Prime Ministers of both Spain and Turkey. The last meeting of the Group took place last May in Dakar, in which ISESCO Director General participated.
