Two sharp earthquakes shook the Ecuadoran capital on Sunday morning during the country's presidental elections. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, reported The Associated Press. Ecuador's Geophysics Insitute said the first quake struck at 10:34 a.m. (1534 GMT) with a magnitude of 4.1 and the second, of unspecified magnitude, hit 10 minutes later. The epicenter of the first was in the town of Calderon, 5 kilometers (3 miles) north of Quito. The quakes were felt strongly in tall buildings in Quito.
